Communications portal

Use the Communications tab to review and export delivered or failed customer text messages and emails.

What Is the Communications portal?

The Communications Portal is a section in your Carpay dealer site where you can review messages that have been sent to customers. It shows whether text messages or emails were successfully delivered or failed to send.


How to view delivered messages

  1. Log in to your Carpay dealer site in a web browser.

  2. Navigate to the Communications tab.

  3. Select the Delivered tab to see all text messages and emails that were successfully delivered to customers.

  4. You can scroll through the list or search to find specific communications.


How to view failed messages

  1. In the Communications tab, select the Non-Delivered tab.

  2. This view shows any text messages or emails that were not successfully delivered.

  3. Reviewing failed messages helps you troubleshoot when customers report they didn’t receive a message.


Exporting Communication records

You can export the messages shown in either tab for your records:

  • Export to PDF

  • Export to CSV

Exporting this data helps with tracking communication history and maintaining documentation.


Why this is helpful

If a customer says they “never got” a text message or email, you can use the Communications portal to confirm whether the message was delivered or not. This helps you avoid guesswork and provides clear evidence of communication history.
