Overview
The Carpay Dashboard gives dealers a real-time snapshot of payment activity, customer behavior, delinquency trends, and communication performance. Depending on your dealership’s fee structure and your user permission level, the dashboard you see may look slightly different.
This article walks through the three most common dashboard views and explains what each chart represents.
Dashboard View 1: Dealers who set their own convenience fees (full view)
Dashboard View 2: Users who do not have access to the financial graphs
Dashboard View 3: Dealers on platform fees (no Convenience Fees graph)
Dashboard View 1: Dealer-Set Convenience Fees (Full View)
Dealers who choose and collect their own convenience fees see the complete dashboard, including the Convenience Fees Collected chart in the upper-left corner.

Dashboard View 2: Users Without Access to Financial Graphs
Some users will see a dashboard that does not display the financial graphs (Convenience Fees Collected and Total Payments Collected). This is controlled by user permissions in Carpay.
Why a User Might See This View
This view appears when a user has not been granted permission to see financial data such as collected payments and convenience fees. Common reasons include role-based restrictions or newly created user accounts that have not yet been configured.
How to Grant Access to the Financial Graphs
A dealership admin can adjust the user’s permissions so the financial charts appear on their dashboard. To do this:
Log in to Carpay as an admin user.
Navigate to the User Settings or User Management area of your dealership account.
Locate the user whose permissions you want to update and open their profile.
Enable the permission(s) related to viewing financial data (Convenience Fees and Total Payments Collected).
Save the changes and have the user refresh their dashboard or log out and back in.
Note: If you’re not sure which permission controls visibility of the financial graphs, contact Carpay Support and we’ll help you locate the correct setting for your user.
Charts Visible in This View
All non-financial charts remain available to the user:

Dealerships enrolled in Carpay’s platform fee structure do not collect their own convenience fees, so the Convenience Fees Collected chart does not appear on their dashboard. All other charts remain available.
