If a payment comes through one of your Carpay channels, and that payment doesn’t have any irregularities, the payment should automatically post to the customer’s account in your DMS, without needing your approval.
The irregularities that stop autopost and require your review are:
Side note balances
Late fee balances
Pickup payment balances
Partial payments
If ALL Carpay payments are posting to your Batch Payments screen for review (including those with no irregularities), it could be because your time zone isn’t set in Wayne Reaves.
Below, we will walk you through how to set the time zone within Wayne Reaves. Once your timezone is set, payments should auto-post going forward.
Setting your timezone in Wayne Reaves
First, click on Utilities within Wayne Reaves.
In the drop-down menu, select Setup Company and then Car Company Setup.
Finally, towards the bottom of the pop-up, you will want to set your timezone. If there is already a timezone set, ensure that it is accurate.
Troubleshooting
Payments are still getting stuck in batch payments
Ensure you saved the timezone from the previous steps.
Ensure the payments you see do not have any irregularities — referenced above.
