This article explains how you can set up, edit, or cancel Autopay — automatic recurring payments — on your Carpay account.
The ability to control and manage Autopay depends on your dealer/lender's setup. If you do not see the option to enroll in Autopay, please get in touch with your dealer directly.
What is autopay?
Autopay lets you schedule automatic payments so you don’t have to make payments manually each time. Once autopay is set up, payments will be drafted automatically on your scheduled date.
How to manage autopay
You can manage autopay from the Carpay web portal or the Carpay mobile app.
Step 1: Log in to your Carpay account
Log in to your Carpay account using a web browser or the mobile app.
Step 2: Go to account settings
From your account dashboard, select Account Settings at the top of the screen.
This is where you can view, update, or cancel your autopay setup.
You must register your account with Carpay to access settings or autopay options. Logging in as a guest will not allow you to control these options.
Setting up autopay
If you don’t already have autopay enabled:
Go to Account Settings.
Select Autopay or Payment Settings.
Choose your payment method (debit or credit card).
Save your changes.
Once saved, payments will automatically draft based on your loan schedule.
Canceling autopay
To stop autopay:
Go to Account Settings.
Select your active AutoPay schedule.
Choose Cancel Autopay.
Confirm the cancellation.
Once canceled, future payments will no longer be drafted automatically.
Important things to know
Autopay does not add extra fees to your recurring payments.
You can still make one-time payments even if autopay is enabled.
You can cancel autopay at any time.
Tips for using autopay
Make sure your payment method is up to date to avoid declined payments.
Watch for payment confirmation messages after each draft.
If your due date changes, your autopay schedule may also change.
