Getting access to your Carpay account

How to register for Carpay, what to do if your account doesn’t appear, and how to use a registration code to access your account.

If you’re trying to log in or set up your Carpay account for the first time and aren’t sure which option to choose, this guide will walk you through the correct steps based on what you see on screen.


Choose the correct login option

When you arrive at the Carpay login screen (either mobile app or web browser), you’ll see two tabs at the top:

  • Account Log In — for users who have already registered

  • First-Time User — for customers registering for the first time

If you are new to Carpay, you must select First-Time User.


Register as a First-Time User

On the First-Time User tab, enter:

  • Your first name

  • Your last name

  • The last 4 digits of your SSN, if available

If your information matches what your dealership has on file, you’ll be guided through completing registration and creating your login credentials.


If your account doesn’t appear

If your account is not found, this is common and usually means:

  • Your dealership does not have an SSN on file

  • The information entered does not exactly match dealership records

  • Your account was recently added and hasn’t synced yet

When this happens, you’ll need to use a registration code.


Using a registration code

A registration code is provided by your dealership and allows you to register without SSN verification.

To use a registration code:

  1. On the login screen, click I have a registration code

  2. Enter the code exactly as provided

  3. Complete your account setup

Once registered, you’ll be able to log in normally going forward.


Already registered?

If you’ve registered before:

  • Select Account Log In

  • Enter your email and password

  • If needed, click I forgot my password to reset it


Still need help?

If you:

  • Don’t have a registration code

  • Can’t find your account

  • Aren’t sure which option to choose

Contact your dealership directly. They can:

  • Verify your information

  • Issue a registration code

  • Confirm your account is active

Carpay Support cannot create or modify customer accounts without dealership involvement.
