Recent Payments: Payments Posting to DMS (DMS specific)

This article explains what the Payments Posting to DMS tab means on the Recent Payments page for certain DMS integrations.


Which DMS types does this apply to?

This behavior applies to dealers using the following DMS integrations:

  • DealerCenter

  • Frazer

  • iDMS

  • WR FoxPro

  • Motion DMS

  • Auto Master Systems (AMS)

  • AutoAction

This behavior does not apply to dealers using Wayne Reaves or AutoManager.


What does “Payments Posting to DMS” mean?

For the DMS integrations listed above, the Payments Posting to DMS tab is designed specifically for automation tracking.

It helps Carpay’s system identify which payments have not yet been posted to your DMS.

This tab does not require any manual action from you.


What you need to know

Purpose

This tab displays payments that have not yet been posted to your DMS.

No manual work required

  • You do not need to manually mark payments as “Done.”

  • Carpay’s automation uses this tab to track and manage posting automatically.

“Mark Done” button

Unless you’re instructed otherwise by Carpay Support, you can ignore the Mark Done buttons in this tab.


What to do if something looks stuck

If a payment remains in Payment Posting to DMS longer than expected, recommended next steps:

  1. Check your DMS to see whether it has posted.

  2. If it has not posted and it’s been an unusual amount of time, contact Carpay Support with:

    • Customer name

    • Payment date and amount

    • Reference number (if available)
